This is an A4 coloured pencil commission of Florence, an English Setter. This was completed in July 2023 and took 25 hours to finish.

This portrait was the second commission from one of my customer's in 2023, which I was very grateful for. When my customer showed me the photos of Florence I instantly fell in love and knew this was going to be a great portrait to draw. This commission was completed for another birthday present.

I think this portrait is definitely my favourite so far, she was such a gorgeous dog to draw. I had such a great reference photo to draw from, especially the nose. But I really enjoyed drawing her collar as the pop of blue really added to this commission, and the fabric texture was really fun to draw.
