This is a 10cm x 10cm graphite pencil drawing of Ronnie, a miniature Pinscher. This graphite pencil commission took me 9 hours to complete, and I completed this in October 2023.

This portrait was requested by my customer as a memorial portrait for a friend who had recently lost their dog, Ronnie. It was a unique request as they wanted it to be 10cm x 10cm, the smallest portrait commission I have completed. I was quite nervous out how much detail I would be able to fit into such a small portrait, but also excited to work on this scale!

In the end I was actually really pleased with the outcome; I managed to get a lot of detail into this portrait and due to the size of it, it only took me 9 hours to complete which is the quickest I have drawn a commission in. Every time I finish a small commission, I always think miniature portraits may be my favourite size!
