Commissions are currently closed as I am planning my wedding! I will reopen commissions in the future, but please feel free to email me to be added to my waitlist.

Anyone else starting to feel a bit better now that we're in Spring? Albeit, it's England so it is still quite miserable half of the time, but there's been a few sunny mornings now and I always love those days. Spring is definitely one of my favourite times of the year as all the flowers start to bloom, trees are blossoming, and the mornings are getting brighter.
Anyway, time to update you on what's been happening and what I've got planned for the next few months! So far this year, I have got one more stockist, so you can now find me at Ferne Animal Sanctuary in their gift shop which is really exciting, and I've also completed two more commissions since the January. The commission I've just finished is a birthday present so I will hopefully be able to share that with you next month when it has been gifted.
I've Entered A competition!
At the start of the year I said I wanted to enter some more competitions this year. I did in fact miss the deadline of Wildlife Artist of the Year competition which I have previously entered, but I also didn't actually have anything to enter into it this year so I decided to give that one a miss.
However, I did come across a new competition and have decided to enter that one this year! This competition is the Waverton Art Prize and I have entered my bee drawing into this one. The short list is going to be announced at some point in April and the exhibition is in May, who knows whether I will make the short list but I'm still excited to have entered it! Wish me luck! 🤞

I've also booked in for my first stand of the year, and I'm going back to school for it! My old secondary school is running a Garden & Food Festival at the end of April and I have decided to book a stand for the day. I'm not sure yet if I will have anything new or exclusive to sell at the stand yet like I did last summer, but definitely planning on having all of my prints, originals, cards and bookmarks for sale. I might even setup part of my table for me to sit and do some drawing depending on how busy the day is, but we'll see!
I'm kinda nervous but excited to go back as a lot of my old teachers will be there, so it will be nice to catch up with them and show them what I have been doing since I left. That is of course if my old teachers are still there and if they remember me. 😂

And finally, not art related, but me and my boyfriend have booked our next holiday and this time we're going for a nice relaxing week away in the sun to do nothing, so I really can't wait for that!
In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates on my competition entry, and I look forward to seeing some of you in April at the garden fair!
