For this portrait I had to do a little editing of the original photograph to remove something in front of his ear, but other than that this was a beautiful reference photo to work from. This commission was completed as an 80th birthday present which was lovely. It was so nice to work on this portrait; he had such a cute, soft face and the eyes were definitely my favourite again on this one as they look like they're glinting!
