This is an A3 graphite pencil commission of Gill, Nicola and Ron. This was completed in April 2023 and took 74 hours to finish.

This portrait was taken from two separate photos, combined to show the parents and daughter together in the same photo. To make sure they all photos worked together, I edited the brightness and contrast for each photo so they were roughly the same, and Photoshopped the photos together. This commission was completed as a birthday present and was a lovely surprise!

I did actually find the portrait quite challenging as I had never done multiple portraits in one commission, and it had been a while since I had used graphite pencil. It was also a tight deadline once I had started the commission to get it finished in time for the birthday, so there were a few late nights with this one!
